Ali Larijani’s message addressed to his counterparts across the Islamic world said that the ‘bountiful’ birth of the Prophet, Mohammad bin Abdullah was the boon for humanity and which brought the humanity its glory and redeemed its place in the hierarchy of the creation; “the Prophet is the good for all times and individuals, who teaches, wholeheartedly, deep spiritual knowledge; thus, it is imperative for all Muslim countries to return to his valuable teachings more than any time before so as to strengthen the bonds of fraternity and abandon discord and difference,” said Larijani in his message.
“The challenges and threats facing Islamic Umma would only be addressed effectively and be solved through improving moderate Islamic thought and movements which relies on pure rationality; misunderstanding and misconceptions of true Islam should not be permitted to tarnish this image, which is for the lifelong efforts of the Prophet (SA),” he suggested.
“Fighting terrorism entails a joint vision and strategy. Islamic leaders and political elites especially in parliament have a crucial mission of bringing this strategy to operation; exchanging ideas by parliaments is a new chapter in drawing the joint plan,” the message said.
